Rebecca Alptekin from Arden

It is our privilege to have Rebecca Alptekin as our December 2018 Member of the Month at Club Arden!  Rebecca started at Results with a 6 Week Challenge in January of 2014!  After reaching her 20-pound goal, Rebecca became a member along with her husband Murat!  Rebecca says, she and Murat have been healthier and happier since they made it a commitment to get in shape – they have two small children to chase after, so they have good reasons to stay committed.  They do challenges as members together, so they help each other stay accountable and reach their goals!

You will find this wife, mother, and VP of Client Relations at the 5am class regularly because her day starts with the positive energy she gets from the music, the coaches, and the encouragement from the fitfam!

Rebecca has had many accomplishments while at Results.  She is most proud, however, of her most recent weight loss of 27.8 pounds and being Arden’s location winner of the Member’s Travel Challenge!

Dan Romero from Central Sac

The coaches at Central Sacramento are proud to announce Dan Romero as our Member of the Month for December 2018!  Dan’s journey with Results began when he was sitting in the drive thru at the Jack-In-The-Box and saw a group of Results fitfam running laps around the building – He decided to join in!  Dan completed two challenges and became a member in June of 2017. 

Dan says that the impact he has had from being at Results is amazing to him – at home he is more confident, happy, and has more energy to spend with his wife, and four-year-old daughter! (Dan and his wife are expecting a baby boy in January 2019!)  Dan has seen so many changes in his health and fitness level since starting at Results – His knee pain is gone – he is always coming in the top 3 to finish running laps – pull-ups are getting easier – he isn’t afraid to have people take pictures of him – and he is more comfortable and confident shopping for clothes!

Dan’s accomplishments include being able to deadlift 405 pounds, going from weighing 320 pounds to 243 pounds, and (he won’t admit this) being a role model for other challengers and members to follow!

Dan has two favorite quotes that motivate him:

“When it comes to eating right and exercising, there is no I’ll start tomorrow.  Tomorrow is disease.”

And…

“Even when life gets rough, you need to be willing to bet on yourself.  It’s one investment in the world you can control better than anything else.  YOU ARE WORTH IT!”

Steve Luu from Elk Grove

Steve Luu has been with Results for a year and a half! After feeling a lack of motivation to work out by himself and not wanting to be where he wanted mentally and physically, he decided on a change! During his time at Results, Steve has lost 30lbs and has gained so much strength and definition in his muscles! Prior to Results, waking up at 5:30AM was unheard of, but now, there is a new sense of discipline in his life! This new lifestyle has helped make his favorite motivational quote “Mind over Matter.” His favorite workout is Tabata Tuesday because he loves being sweaty and out of breath! Steve loves a push from his fitfam and coaches, and he makes it a regular routine to run laps with his 6:30 class after every workout. Steve wants everyone to know what makes Results: working towards the same goal, a better you!

Vishal Mannapur from Folsom

Vishal Mannapur is a Senior Firmware engineer at Intel Corp in Folsom! He joined Intel March of 2008 as a recent college graduate after receiving his master’s degree from University of Texas at Arlington. Vishal joined Results 9 months ago because he wanted to stay fit, healthy, and lose weight. He’s lost 11lbs since joining Results and continues to push himself every day during his 6AM workouts! His favorite movement patterns are burpees, deadlifts and high intensity cardio! His proudest moment was when he did a 90lb deadlift. Vishal has a four-year-old daughter who he loves spending time with! They enjoy playing soccer together. He even taught her how to do a burpee! Vishal also loves playing sand volleyball every Thursday morning after his RTC workout! He enjoys that it requires hand/eye and leg coordination to deliver the perfect spike as well as predicting where the opponent is going to hit the ball and being ready to receive it! His favorite part of the sport however, is all the new friends he’s made. Vishal enjoys spending his free time playing water sports, going for drives on scenic routes and watching action movies! His favorites are the Indiana Jones movies! Vishal’s advice to his fitfam is that motivation is what gets you started but forming a habit is what keeps you going!! He is very proud to be part of RTC Folsom Fit Fam and we are proud to have him as our Member of the month!!!

Morgan Bare from Natomas

Morgan is the essence of consistency. She is one of the founding challengers for Natomas.  Since joining RESULTS 3 years ago, Morgan has lost over 70 pounds.

When she is not at RESULTS, Morgan is a Veterinary Technician at UC Davis.  She also lovers her two fur babies, Ginger, a terrier mix, and Nessa, a cat.  She is still very active outside the gym. Morgan enjoys playing tennis and hiking but also likes to relax and watch movies.

Her favorite quote is “We are what we repeatedly do.  Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.”  She has worked hard to get where she is in her healthy lifestyle and shows excellence in her movement.  Coaches often use Morgan to show what a movement should look like.  This year “Momo” upped her game by getting a MyZone. She loves it because it pushes her further, even when she thinks she can’t push herself anymore, especially during Tabata and cycling, her favorite workouts.

Morgan recommends RESULTS because of the coaches and the people she gets to meet.  She says she would definitely recommend RESULTS to people because they will gain friends, family, and become healthier and happier.
